Removal of the nerve tissue together with the instrumental and medicamentous processing of the root canal and its subsequent obturation are carried out, no more, no less, up to root’s top. Removing top material causes pain after obturation. Incomplete obturation of canal leads in years to occurrence of granules and cysts which require repeated treatment. Therefore our clinic "Denta Vita" uses Alex-locator, which allows making an exact digital calculation in tenths of millimeter of the length of root canal. This way we can avoid gross blunders at endodontic treatment.
