Instrumental processing of roots canals - Dentaport ZX system

Instrumental processing of roots canals represents an important step of the endodontic intervention. As the quality of all subsequent steps and the success of the treatment as a whole depend on how correctly the edodontic intervention is performed.

We use in our clinic for endodontic treatment Dentaport ZX system – a novelty among systems that proved their advantages in endodontic treatment of Morita Company. This system is represented by a special low-speed endodontic point with a built-in alex-locator. The use of Dentaport ZX system considerably reduces the risk of blunders occurrence during mechanical processing of roots canals. With the help of alex-locator the doctor can visually control the move of attachment in canal. Liquid crystal display shows the distance up to canal top, which prevents pulling out instrument in periapical tissues. When it approaches the top the rotation speed reduces automatically, whilst reaching the depth given earlier – the attachment stops and begins rotating in the opposite direction in order to extract the instruments out of canal more easily. This helps avoiding serious errors such as tool’s breakage inside the canal. To prevent perforation of canal wall, Dentaport ZX system uses a sensor of rotating moment. If the attachment deepens too much in canal wall, the sensor stops automatically and starts rotating in the opposite direction. The use of Dentaport ZX considerably reduces the risk of errors occurrence during mechanical processing of roots canals.

Dentaport ZX system uses attachments that differ by shape from manual tools, which allows applying progressive techniques of canals obturation, such as obturation of liquid gutta-percha and obturation with thermofilums.

Using Dentaport ZX system reduces considerably the period of time necessary to carry out endodontic treatment, which is important for both dentist and patient.
