Nylon prostheses

Since 1938-year acrylic plastics began replace caoutchouc, which was the main material used to prepare the basis of teeth dentures. But as a result of scientific studies it was proved that acrylic plastic has considerable disadvantages, and now there are enough grounds to exclude acrylic plastic from dental practice.

Nylon denture became nowadays an efficient alternative for skeletal denture which is heavy and sizeable.

This is a resilient, elastic material, very lasting and resisting to pressures. It is almost impossible to break it. It surpasses by its characteristics all existing materials in dentistry. Nylon doesn’t cause allergy, as it contains no monomers.

Nylon denture is hard, despite the existing opinion of its mythical softness, and at the same time elastic, cleans very easily, doesn’t change color, doesn’t need repeated polishing, unlike classical removable dentures.
